Billy

Billy aka Big Billy, and Billy Bob is a Morgan Percheron mix and is 20 years old. Billy came to HoH in July 2016. He is approximately 16.2 hands high and his color is Bay-Roan. Anyone that has met Billy has fallen in love with him, by just looking in his eyes. His eyes tell his personality right through to his heart. He is a big guy and some say his hooves are like saucers, but his personality is of a gentle giant.

Billy is used in all aspects of HoH. Lessons, ground work, grooming. He has adjusted well to the herd and is happy just being himself.

Jazz

Jazz aka Jazzy aka Mister aka Jazz Man is a 27 year old Sorrel Quarter Horse gelding. Jazz is approximately 15.3 hands high and has as big of personality as he is round. But don’t tell him you think he is fat. Jazz has been with Horses of Hope the longest out of all the members of our herd. He is semi-retired but happy to assist with those "little ones"  and all he asks for in return is a lot of love and some hay.

Hotrod

Hotrod is a 19 year old Quarter Horse gelding.  Hotrod is full of personality and loves to be groomed after geting very muddy.  Most of all, he loves doing his job.  He has been a Western Pleasure Show horse, but has decided to retire and help the participants at Horses of Hope.

Jackson

Jackson is an 18-year-old Quarter Horse Paint gelding. Jackson joined the program last year and is loving his time with his new riders. He’s willing to learn and go where you need him to go. To do what you need him to do without getting into trouble or getting worked up. He’s curious which I like in a horse but mindful to listen. He’s gentle and has always been soft around children or adults who might not know what to do in the saddle.
